Big thanks to everyone who made it to our mini – improvement day yesterday (Sat 12th July), Big thanks to East Dunbartonshire Council for providing another skip.
The station continues to look better and better.
Improvers managed to fill another skip, place plants and clear the approach to the station.
Big Steve from Kelvin valley turf came along and has agreed to provide turf and top-soil to the station FREE OF CHARGE when needed – it’s inspiring to see how much support villagers, visitors and local businesses are giving to the project.
Will be great to see you all next Saturday 12.30pm when the Baton relay comes through the station at 1pm.
P.S – Stumbled across a community garden on the south side of Glasgow (Old Cathcart Community Garden – near Hampden) it’s amazing – hopefully we can create something similar.
